The song “You Are God” was written by Michal Turtak and is used in worship at the Devleskero Kher church in Kosice. Just a few months after he became a Christian, Turtak wanted to find a way to express his thankfulness and praise to God. “It was a time I was growing in my faith. I started to realize all the things God has done for us, that whatever we are going through he’s always beside us. I wanted to explain it to God with words… but it was easier when I was singing. When I pray, I’m always singing. So that’s where the song came from.”
